I won’t lie. We got beat up a little bit last night. The team went 1-3 yesterday, missing on two OVERs and picking the wrong side in the Mystics-Mercury game. Our lone win came from the Sky, who were able to cover against the Sparks. 

We have a smaller slate of games today, but I still have you covered with my best bet from each of them.

Lynx vs. Fever Best Bets

Over the last nine games, the Lynx have turned into a competent team. They’re 6-3 in that span and have used their offense to drive the turnaround. Minnesota is fourth in offensive rating overall, but they’ve scored over 100 points in two of its last four games. The defense is still suspect, but I don’t trust the Fever at all. 

Indiana has lost seven straight games and have lost by double digits in five of those games. At 6-20, there’s not a lot the Fever have to show for their season. Indiana is last in defensive rating and second-to-last in offensive rating. I think this is a short line for the Lynx to cover. Minnesota can easily win this game and I’m confident it will be by at least two possessions.

Sun vs. Dream Best Bets

I backed the Sun as -9.5 point favorites against the Fever and got burned. However, I still have faith the Sun can be dominant today against the Dream. Backing Connecticut today is also going to go against the recent trend. The Sun are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games, including four straight losses. 

I’m going to back the Sun because their efficient on both sides of the ball (top three in offensive and defensive rating) and Atlanta is the worst offensive team in the league. Connecticut should run away with this game, especially with the fast pace game Atlanta will try to create.
