We've got every team in action in the WNBA this Sunday for the regular season finale, as four teams battle for the final two playoff spots left.

Meanwhile, at the top of the standings, the Las Vegas Aces need a win to secure the No. 1 seed in the postseason when they face the Seattle Storm at home. If they lose, that would give the Chicago Sky a chance to reclaim the No. 1 seed after giving it up earlier in the week.

After a 3-1 night on Friday, we've improved to 10-2-0 over our last 12 picks! Can we close out the regular season with another flurry of wins?

Let's dive in!

Best WNBA Picks For Sunday, August 14

  • Dream vs. Liberty UNDER 160.5 (-110)
  • Fever +11 (-110)
  • Storm vs. Aces OVER 168 (-110)

Dream vs. Liberty Best Bets

Both teams need to win in order to have a shot at the postseason. In Atlanta's case, they need a road win and a few other games to go their way. If the Liberty get it done in Brooklyn this afternoon, they clinch a playoff spot and are in either the 7 or 8-seed depending on how the rest of Sunday's action goes.

Atlanta's defensive rating has slipped in the second half, but the Dream have held their head high on being one of the better defensive teams in the league throughout the season. Meanwhile, since the start of August, the Liberty have been the second-best defensive rated team in the WNBA.

It's an early afternoon tip with the playoffs on the line. Expect pace to slow down considerably in the second half if it's close, and play the under here.

PICK: UNDER 160.5 (-110)

Fever vs. Mystics Best Bets

I took Indiana as a big home dog on Friday night vs. Washington with the Mystics all but locked up in the 5-seed, and they still found a way to lose and not cover. So why do it again?

Even though Washington all but secured the 5-seed, there was still an outside chance they could move up to the 4-spot if Seattle would have lost to Minnesota. Instead, they blew out the Lynx and now the Mystics playoff spot is already decided.

With Washington dealing with a handful of injury issues to some of their top players throughout the season, I'll back the Fever to play for some pride here and try to keep it somewhat close.

PICK: Fever +11

Storm vs. Aces Best Bets

Seattle has themselves locked into the 4-seed for the WNBA postseason, while the Aces still have the top seed to play for later this afternoon.

Because Vegas had more to play for, I was a bit surprised to see the line only arrive at Aces -6.5, which smells a little fishy to me. Perhaps knowing that these two teams would likely set up for a second-round matchup, maybe Seattle looks to play some of their starters a bit longer than expected to try and get a better scouting report for a possible matchup ahead?

Regardless of whatever their mindset is, I'll back the over between these two teams instead. While Las Vegas has been the top offensive rated team in the league all season, over the past two weeks, it's actually been the Storm owning the best offensive rating in the sport (117.4 to 111.7).

We know the Aces like to push pace and tempo, and the Storm have also played more aggressive over the past few weeks. With Las Vegas having far more to play for, I'll back them to play their style of basketball and dictate it throughout the game, leading to plenty of points on the board.

PICK: Storm vs. Aces OVER 168 (-110)
