There are five games in action on Sunday in the WNBA, and we have a preview for each matchup here at BetSided.

Not only that, but yours truly is sharing my favorite picks to make for the WNBA action today, with odds via WynnBET and DraftKings Sportsbook.

WNBA Odds, Spread and Totals for Every Game (Sunday, July 31)

Phoenix Mercury vs. New York Liberty Odds, Prediction and Pick

Spread:

  • Mercury -1 (-110)
  • Liberty +1 (-110)

Moneyline:

  • Mercury: -120
  • Liberty: +100

Total:

  • 166.5 (Over -110/Under -110)

The Mercury haven’t won a road game since June 25, and they barely beat this Liberty team back on July 7, winning 84-81 at home.

New York isn’t playing well lately but it has also had a brutal stretch against playoff teams, facing the Chicago Sky, Connecticut Sun, Las Vegas Aces and Washington Mystics only in their last six games.

That’s a schedule anyone would struggle with, and New York’s 10th-ranked offense simply doesn't have enough firepower to keep up with some of those teams.

I actually think there is value in the Liberty here at even money, as the Mercury are a step below those teams.

Lean: Liberty ML (+100)

Las Vegas Aces vs. Indiana Fever Odds, Prediction and Pick

Spread:

  • Aces -17.5 (-110)
  • Fever +17.5 (-110)

Moneyline:

  • Aces: -2100
  • Fever: +1100

Total:

  • 173 (Over -110/Under -110)

These two teams have played twice over the last month, with the Aces winning by 13 on July 21 and 21 on July 29.

The thing I find interesting is that both games ended with lower totals than expected, with the first game finishing at 167 points and the second ending with 165.

Still, oddsmakers clearly trust the Aces’ No. 1 offense against the Fever defense with the total up at 173.

I’m not so sure I agree. The Aces are going to win this game handily, and they have played most of their starters less than 25 minutes in each game against the Fever. For comparison, Las Vegas played four starters 32-plus minutes against the Chicago Sky.

If this gets out of hand early, Vegas isn’t going to risk playing its top players more than it needs.

For that reason, I’ll bet the UNDER in this matchup

Lean: UNDER 173 (-110)

Minnesota Lynx vs. Los Angeles Sparks Odds, Prediction and Pick

Spread:

  • Lynx -2.5 (-110)
  • Sparks +2.5 (-110)

Moneyline:

  • Lynx: -140
  • Sparks: +115

Total:

  • 166.5 (Over -110/Under -110)

The Sparks may have a better record than Minnesota, but they have the second worst net rating minus-6.5 in the WNBA.

The Lynx, on the other hand, have a net rating of just minus-1.4 this season, showing that they may be better than their record indicates.

The big difference between these teams comes on the offensive end, where the Lynx are fourth in offensive rating while the Sparks are ninth.

Minnesota played the Sun tough in back-to-back games before handling the Atlanta Dream in its last game.

I’ll trust the Lynx to win this game as a road favorite.

Lean: Lynx ML (-140)
