The final designated event of the PGA Tour schedule is set to tee-off on at TPC River Highlands.

In this article, we're going to focus on prop bets. I have three of them locked in for the tournament, so let's dive into them.

Travelers Championship prop bets

  • Christiaan Bezuidenhout Top South African (+100)
  • Min Woo Lee +105 vs. Justin Thomas
  • Sungjae Im to miss the cut (+180)

Christiaan Bezuidenhout Top South African (+100)

This is a little but of an obscure prop bet, but it's one that I think has a lot of value.

Christiaan Bezuidenhout is a great golfer across all metrics except for one: Driving distance. He ranks 169th in average driving distance, averaging just 289.7 yards per drive. But, luckily for him, TPC River Highlands is the second shortest course on the PGA Tour's schedule.

Garrick Higgo hasn't finished better than 30th since the Honda Classic in February, and Erik van Rooyen has missed the cut in four straight starts.

I'll take Bezuidenhout at +100 to finish as the top South African.

Min Woo Lee +105 vs. Justin Thomas

This is a fade of Justin Thomas more than anything else. He has been absolutely terrible as of late, missing the cut in two straight weeks and had arguably his worst tournament of his PGA Tour career at last week's U.S. Open. He hasn't finished in the top 20 since a T14 finish at the Wells Fargo Championship.

Meanwhile, Min Woo Lee is coming off a T5 finish at the U.S. Open. I love that we can get +105 odds on him against JT this week.

I'd recommend fading Thomas one way or another, and this is how I'm choosing to do it.

Sungjae Im to miss the cut (+180)

Speaking of golfers who have been bad lately, Sungjae Im is another golfer that has struggled in a big way. Since winning the Woori Financial Group Championship on the Korean PGA Tour, he's gone missed cut, missed cut, T41, and missed cut.

Until he turns things around, I'm going to continue to bet on him to miss the cut.
