Group play of the UEFA Champions League finally begins today, and Cristiano Ronaldo is on center stage again to kick things off. Ronaldo and Manchester United - his new but old team - are facing off against the Swiss BSC Young Boys in the first match of the day.

Manchester United is coming off a dominant 4-1 win against Newcastle United in the English Premier League. The Young Boys are also coming into this game with an impressive 4-0 win against Zurich in the Swiss Super League.

BSC has had better luck than United in the matches leading up to today, with Manchester losing its last two games. Despite that, the Red Devils are heavy favorites to knock of the Young Boys and start group play with three points.

Here are the odds for their matchup via WynnBET.

Manchester United vs. BSC Young Boys Prediction and Pick

Manchester United got one of the world’s best secret weapon in Cristiano Ronaldo since the last time it played a Champions League match and his addition should pay off today. There is nobody better than Ronaldo in scoring goals in Champions League history and the Young Boys need to be on alert.

The Red Devils have +125 odds to record a clean sheet, while the Young Boys are +700. If BSC isn’t able to get its offense going how it has in the past, they should expect to walk out of the stadium with no points. It’s going to be hard to keep Manchester United down for 90 minutes, and for that, I’m taking United.
