The Minnesota Vikings are in midseason form, in terms of being the most cursed team in the NFL.

The Vikings had a great two-minute drill and had a chance to win the game on a 37-yard field goal, and lost. Greg Joseph missed wide right, sending Minnesota to 0-2. Still, WynnBET has a lot of faith in the Vikings to turn their season around.

WynnBET has the Vikings’ win total projection set at 8.0, with the over (-135) favoring the under (+115). While the Vikings had high hopes going into this season, I think it’s time for fans and bettors to play the under.

Also, let's just appreciate how fun it is to hear Gus Johnson's voice calling a game. But I digress.

At 0-2, the Vikings would have to go 9-6 for the remainder of the season to surpass their projection. Although the NFC North isn’t filled with amazing talent, the Vikings should not be expected to reach 9 wins at this point.

Fortunately for Minnesota, Week 3 will be its home opener. Unfortunately, it has to deal with Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks this week and then play the Cleveland Browns. The Vikings could be staring 0-4 in the face and could be on watch for a top 10 draft pick next season.

Minnesota hasn’t been terrible this season, which could explain the confidence it will turn the season around, but the Vikings are stuck in the middle. They aren’t a great team, nor a bad team, so starting 0-2 puts the chance at an average record at risk.

If the Vikings go 0-3, you can kiss nine wins goodbye. I’m taking the Seahawks in Week 3, so I would jump all over +115 odds on the under.
