Following a loss to the Sacramento Kings on Sunday night, the Golden State Warriors fell to a disappointing 0-7 on the road in the 2022-23 season.

Golden State has lost to Sacramento, the New Orleans Pelicans, Orlando Magic, Charlotte Hornets, Miami Heat, Detroit Pistons and Phoenix Suns on the road this season. Warriors forward Draymond Green called the team's record "insane," and he's not wrong.

The Warriors have been horrible on the road, going 1-6 against the spread and losing by an average margin of 10.6 points. They rank 30th in the NBA in defensive rating away from home, 28th in net rating and 16th in offensive rating.

It's a bad sign for the defending champs when they hit the road to take on Devin Booker and the Suns on Wednesday night.

Warriors vs. Suns Odds, Spread and Total

Earlier today, I wrote in our betting preview for this game that the Suns are the team to bet on in this matchup, even with Chris Paul (heel) listed as questionable.

Golden State has struggled mightily in the non-Steph Curry minutes this season, and now it has to take on a Phoenix team that is fifth in offensive rating, third in defensive rating and second in net rating so far this season.

It's not easy to bet against the defending champs when Curry is playing at an MVP-level, but with the rest of the supporting cast struggling, I'd continue to ride the trend and bet against Golden State on the road.
