The NFL offseason will be upon us before you think, and the 2022 NFL Draft is one of the most important events in shaping the future of the league.

As each team tries to find impact players in the NFL Scouting Combine to take during the draft, fans are hoping that the players selected will change the future of their favorite franchise.

When does this year’s NFL Draft take place? Here’s everything you need to know about the 2022 NFL Draft and the key dates for each round.

The NFL Draft Goes From April 28 to April 30

The NFL Draft begins on April 28, 2022 and will go through April 30. The three-day event spans seven rounds of draft picks, but each day is dedicated to specific rounds.

The first round of the draft will take place on Thursday, April 28. That is followed by rounds two and three on Friday and round four through seven on Saturday.

While the first round is usually the round where impact players are expected to be picked, NFL teams have shown year after year that they can find talented players in all rounds of the draft. It may be hard to sit through rounds four through seven on Saturday, but there’s a chance your team can grab a steal in those rounds.

The 2022 NFL Draft will take place in Las Vegas. The NFL changes the location of the draft each year, but with the Las Vegas Raiders moving, the league is also having the draft hosted in it’s newest city.
