As you pick your favorite golfers to bet on this week over at WynnBET, don't forget to keep in mind who has done well at the U.S. Open in the past. That begs the question, who did win last year?

Who Was the Last U.S. Open Winner?

Jon Rahm won the 2021 U.S. Open, beating out Louis Oosthuizen by a stroke. Rahm finished with a score of -6 to win his first career major.

Harris English took third, while Brooks Koepka, Guido Migliozzi, and Collin Morikawa tied for fourth to round out the top.

Bryson DeChambeau won in 2021. The U.S. Open took a year off in 2020 due to the COVID pandemic, but Gary Woodland won in 2019 and Brooks Koepka won consecutive Opens in 2018 and 2017.

Who Won the Last Tournament at The Country Club at Brookline?

In 2013, Matthew Fitzgerald won the U.S. Amateur at The Country Club at Brookline in a tournament featuring current contenders like Xander Schauffele and Scottie Scheffler.

The U.S. Open hasn't been at The Country Club since 1988, when Curtis Strange beat Nick Faldo in an epic playoff. But in 1999, the United States Ryder Cup team pulled off a dramatic victory led by none other than Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods.
