Zach Wilson is lowkey being left in the dust.

Wilson’s Offensive Rookie of the Year odds are holding still at +600  while Trevor Lawrence is at +275 and Mac Jones is at +300 over at WynnBET.

Lawrence being at  +275 isn’t a shock. He’s the No. 1 overall pick and one of the most highly touted quarterback prospects to come out in a while. He’s going to have to prove he can’t play in order for the odds to turn on him.

Yet Wilson was the No. 2 overall pick and he’s being lapped by the No. 15 overall pick. Wilson had a good preseason, throwing for 191 yards, 2 touchdowns and zero interceptions.

Wilson has the same odds as Trey Lance, who doesn’t even have a starting job right now.

The New York Jets are one of the worst teams in the league and are going to have to prove they are a competent franchise again.

If Wilson does in the regular season what he’s done in the preseason, his odds have no choice but to get shorter. He has viable weapons as well. With Elijah Moore, Corey Davis and Jamison Crowder, Wilson could be a surprising pick to win the award.

Jones is in the best situation out of Lawrence, Wilson and himself. He has Bill Bellichick and a competent defense behind him to make life as easy as possible. If the Patriots get rolling, expect the Mac Jones votes for OROY to follow.

With Jones and Lawrence so far ahead of Wilson, he has a great opportunity to prove his standing amongst his peers and even cash in at long odds.
