The Memphis Grizzlies are coming off a rather tight series with the Minnesota Timberwolves, but they have to prepare themselves for the NBA Finals favorite in the Golden State Warriors in the second round

Golden State defeated the Denver Nuggets in five games, and the trio of Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole has been a nightmare to defend so far this postseason.

Let’s get into three player props you should consider at WynnBET for this Game 1 showdown:

Best Prop Bets for Warriors-Grizzlies Game 1

  • Ja Morant UNDER 25.5 Points (-105)
  • Dillon Brooks OVER 18.5 Points (-115)
  • Steph Curry OVER 27.5 Points (-125)

Ja Morant UNDER 25.5 Points (-105)

Ja Morant led the NBA in points in the paint during the regular season, but the points haven’t come as easy with heightened defense in the NBA playoffs.

Ja has cleared this number just twice in six playoff games, and he’s shooting just 38.6 percent from the field and 20.0 percent from beyond the arc.

Golden State had the No. 2 defensive rating in the league during the regular season, and it held opponents to 48.0 points in the paint per game (good for 12th in the NBA). Unless Morant’s jumpshot improves, I can’t see him getting to the rim at will the way he did in the regular season.

Dillon Brooks OVER 18.5 Points (-115)

Dillon Brooks has been an up-and-down performer in the playoffs so far, but he has cleared this line in three of his six playoff games.

The bigger reason why I like Brooks is the volume of shots he’s taking, as he took 20, 18 and 19 in the Grizzlies final three games against the Timberwolves.

Brooks did shoot just 3-for-18 in Game 5, but the volume is there where he should be able to clear this number.

Steph Curry OVER 27.5 Points (-125)

Steph Curry has made two starts in this year’s playoffs and he’s scored 33 and 30 points in those games while shooting a combined 20-for-45 from the field.

Steph went over 27.5 points off the bench in Game 2 against Denver, and he should have no problem finding buckets against the Grizz, who are going to have to hide Morant somewhere on defense.

I think Steph hunts out switches and cruises to a big Game 1.
