I’m a man of the people, and as a man of the people, I have to give them what they want.

After hitting two of my three player props on NFL opening night, the people are demanding that I give them more for tonight’s prime time showdown between the Bears and Rams.

Ask and you shall receive.

Here are my top three players props for tonight’s big game. All odds listed are courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Darrell Henderson OVER 52.5 Rushing Yards (-125)

This Chicago Bears defense isn’t as good as you may think. We’re conditioned to assume that the Bears will have one of the best defenses in the NFL every single year, but that’s not the case right now. Are they a bad defense? Absolutely not. But they’re certainly not a top 5 defense like the Steelers, Ravens, or Rams.

The Bears allowed 113.9 rushing yards per game last year, which was 14th in the NFL.

Sean McVay also likes to run the ball early and often. 44.25% of the Rams plays last season were running plays.

The only possible detractor for this prop bet is how much the Rams will use new acquisition Sony Michel. We won’t know the answer to that question until the action gets underway, but you have to assume that Henderson will get the majority of the carries at the start of the season as Michel gets used to the offensive playbook. McVay backed that claim up earlier this week.

“We’re still kind of working through but feel really comfortable with Darrell leading the way and then those other guys excited to see what they can do.”

Allen Robinson OVER 4.5 Receptions (-145)

There is absolutely no doubt who the number one receiver in Chicago is. Allen Robinson hit triple digit catches last season, hauling in a total of 102 for an average of 6.4 per game. With Darnell Mooney listed as questionable tonight, you can expect the Bears to rely on Robinson even more.

Furthermore, with the Rams being listed as heavy 9-point favorites at WynnBET, you have to assume that the Bears will be playing from behind. Trying to play catch up means more passing opportunities, more passing opportunities means more balls thrown Robinson’s way.

If you’re willing to take on the -145 juice, this player prop bet is one of the best of the night.

Rams Defensive Touchdown (+275)

This one’s a bit of a long shot, but why not sprinkle on it?

The Los Angeles Rams have one of the best defenses in the NFL, and they’re taking on an Andy Dalton-led Bears offense which has the potential to be a circus in the worst (best?) way possible.

Dalton threw eight interceptions with the Cowboys last year and fumbled twice. Meanwhile, the Rams defense had three separate pick-sixes in 2020.

Could Jalen Ramsey take an interception to the house? Maybe Aaron Donald will hit Dalton into next week and cause a fumble that’s picked up for a touchdown?

Who knows, but let’s have a little bit of fun with this bet. That’s what it’s all about, isn’t it?
