3M Open Picks, Predictions and Odds (Im, Davis, Poston Jump Out as Values)
By Joe Summers
Winner winner, chicken dinner!
Thanks to Cameron Smith's historic final round to win the British Open Championship, I've hit an outright winner in three of the last four weeks!
Throw in Iain MacMillan nailing Matt Fitzpatrick (+2500) at the U.S Open and Brian Giuffra picking Padraig Harrington (+1100) at the U.S. Senior Open, and the BetSided golf crew is on an absolute roll.
I'll try to keep the dollars flowing at the 3M Open this weekend at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota. Cameron Champ won the event last year, and past winners also include Michael Thompson and Matthew Wolff.
You can check out my full preview of the 3M Open here, but now it's time for my top picks and predictions for the tournament. Using the odds from WynnBET Sportsbook, here are my favorite bets to win:

3M Open Picks and Predictions
Sungjae Im (+2000)
Let's buy the dip on Sungjae, shall we? Before three consecutive disappointing tournaments, Im rattled off four top-15 finishes in five events and profiles perfectly for TPC Twin Cities.
He's 12th on Tour in Strokes Gained: Off-The-Tee and fifth in Strokes Gained: Around-The-Green, but it's his long approach shots that truly make him a tantalizing option. He's T13 in Par 4 Efficiency 450-500 yards, which is the most common hole on the course.
Across the board, Sungjae's statistics suggest his odds should be closer to Finau's so I'm happy to back him at +2000 in a relatively weak field.
Cameron Davis (+2500)
Cameron Smith wins last week, Cameron Champ wins last year, now can Cameron Davis complete the trifecta!?
Look, distance matters here at TPC Twin Cities. And Davis is one of the longest drivers in the tournament while ranking fourth in the field in approach shots from 175-200 yards. His poor play around-the-green will be mitigated by the advantage he creates with his Off-The-Tee game, and he's trending in the right direction.
Davis has six consecutive made cuts with three top-eight results in his last five events. For a golfer that's won a PGA event with a similar field before, we're getting great odds for Davis to continue his upward trajectory on the heels of strong Tee-To-Green play.
J.T. Poston (+3000)
If you blindly made a list of each golfer's recent results and set odds from that list, you'd likely wind up with J.T. Poston as the favorite.
He missed the cut at the Open but won the John Deere Classic and finished T2 at the Travelers with a birdie barrage that would make even the finest golfers blush. Poston has continually improved with his irons and that stellar approach play will put him in position to win.
TPC Twin Cities obviously isn't St. Andrews, but Poston's recent performance is in line with the very best golfers on the planet. Every year, a few golfers' games just click and it takes a while for oddsmakers to realize it. Poston may be one of those guys this season.
Let's keep riding the gravy train until he gets the respect he deserves, because +3000 odds in this field for a guy who has clearly leveled up is an absurd value.
Here are some bonus picks from the Green on the Greens crew.
