In case you didn't already know, this week's PGA Tour event, the Farmers Insurance Open, is set to take place from Wednesday-Saturday this week instead of the normal schedule of Thursday-Sunday.

That means you need to get all of your bets locked in tonight!

I've already given you my outright picks as well as a few dark horses, so now's the time to break down a few tournament-long matchup bets that I like.

For these bets to cash, the golfer you bet on will need to finish higher up on the leaderboard at the conclusion of the tournament. These bets are for the full tournament.

All odds listed below are via WynnBET Sportsbook.

Best Matchup Bets for the Farmers Insurance Open

Bryson DeChambeau -120 vs. Daniel Berger

As much as I love Daniel Berger, Torrey Pines isn't a course where I'd be rushing to bet on him to succeed. He's missed the cut the last three times he's competed at this event, and his average driving distance this season is only 287.4. That's not going to cut it at Torrey.

DeChambeau, on the other hand, has a style that fits this track to perfection. As long as he's having a good week with his irons, he should win this matchup comfortably.

Patrick Reed +100 vs. Brooks Koepka

We're getting +100 odds on last year's tournament winner to defeat a guy who missed the cut. This is a no brainer for me. Koepka continues to be overvalued when it comes to his odds, because people still think of the run he had from 2017-2019, but this isn't the same Brooks.

He's only finished better than T28 once this season (T9 at Hero World Challenge), and he's already missed the cut in two of his six events.

Justin Rose -120 vs. Christiaan Bezuidenhout

Now is not the time to back Christiaan Bezuidenhout. He ranks 213th on the PGA Tour in driving distance, and Torrey Pines is not the time to bet on short hitters. Sure, he's a fantastic putter, but this is a long course even for the big drivers out there. Bezuidenhout will have a ton of 200+ yard approach shots this week, which makes it near impossible for him to win the tournament.
