The BetSided crew had a 2-2 split in yesterday's top props. But thanks to Dylan Cease's strikeout prop cashing at plus money, we grinded out a small profit!

That brings the squad to 10-3 over our last 13 picks. I'm taking the reins today - fingers crossed I can keep the dollars coming.

You can also find game-by-game betting plays and previews for every matchup on the MLB Picks page. Let's jump into today's props though, using odds from WynnBET Sportsbook:

Best MLB Prop Bets Today

  • Eric Lauer UNDER 4.0 Strikeouts (-115)
  • Corey Kluber UNDER 4.0 Strikeouts (-105)
  • Ranger Suarez OVER 4.0 Strikeouts (-115)

Eric Lauer UNDER 4.0 Strikeouts (-115) - Milwaukee Brewers vs St. Louis Cardinals

Lauer hasn't cleared this prop in four straight starts and I think the Cardinals clobber him today.

With three walks in each of those four starts, Lauer's command has abandoned him. The Cardinals strike out at the second-lowest rate in MLB at home and have the best OPS against left-handed pitchers over the last month.

In two starts against St. Louis this year, Lauer has one strikeout and five, barely clearing the prop. I love the Cardinals' chances to get to him early, and at worst I feel comfortable with a push.

Corey Kluber UNDER 4.5 Strikeouts (-105) - Baltimore Orioles vs Tampa Bay Rays

Kluber has just five strikeouts combined in his last two outings against the Orioles, giving up eight runs over 11 innings in the process.

This is the fifth time Baltimore has faced Kluber already, and lineups typically improve against a pitcher the more times it sees him. I haven't been particularly impressed with the Tampa Bay starter of late, and he ranks in just the second percentile in fastball velocity and 19th in expected batting average.

With the Orioles' surging, I think they find success against Kluber once again.

Ranger Suarez OVER 4.0 Strikeouts (-115) - Philadelphia Phillies vs New York Mets

All of a sudden, Suarez is one of the league's more underrated pitchers. He's amassed at least four strikeouts in five straight starts and in eight of his nine road outings.

With a strikeout rate over 7.20 per nine innings and a FIP (Fielding Independent Pitching) under 3.76 in each of his last five starts, Suarez is hot. The Mets just struck out 10 times yesterday and may be feeling the effects of playing a game in 14 consecutive days.

Trust Suarez to stay hot and go toe-to-toe with Max Scherzer in the best pitching matchup of the day.
