Best NBA Prop Bets Today
- Jalen Brunson UNDER 6.5 Assists (-105)
- Cole Anthony OVER 21.5 Points (-115)
- Clint Capela UNDER 13.5 Rebounds (-115)
Jalen Brunson UNDER 6.5 Assists (-105)
Brunson proved my theory about his need to shoot more than distribute the last time out, but I'm going back to the under again tonight when they host the Lakers.
The Hornets, despite being far healthier and well rested simply didn't come to play, allowing Brunson to not shoulder the pressure of having to score in a close game. The Lakers, however, will be a different test.
Brunson and the Mavs are a 1.5-point underdog at home with a small total of 213. The Mavericks are second-to-last in the league in pace, and Brunson will be needed as a focal point of the offense without Doncic. The line is inflated and I encourage bettors to take advantage. -- Ben Heisler
Cole Anthony OVER 21.5 Points (-115)
Cole Anthony is having a huge sophomore season for the Orlando Magic, as he is leading the team in points per game and assists per game while being third on the team in rebounds.
Anthony has scored over 21.5 points in four of his last six games, scoring 21 in one of the others. He dropped 29 points on Atlanta earlier this season (who ranks 25th in defensive rating) and is averaging 20.5 points per game on the season.
I also like the over on Anthony’s rebound prop (5.5 at -105 odds) considering he’s hit that number in three of his last six. Anthony is breaking out on a bad team, and I think he can put up the numbers on a Hawks team that has played four straight games with their opponent scoring 110 or more points. -- Peter Dewey
Anthony has cleared this line in two of the last three games. He missed it last night, but that was only by one point. He’s been hovering around 22 points and that’s because his shooting has picked up in the last couple games.
He’s shooting close to 54% from downtown in the last three games. The Hawks’ defense isn’t too stifling, so Anthony should be able to get his shots off. If they fall, this line is an easy over. -- Donnavan Smoot
Clint Capela UNDER 13.5 Rebounds (-115)
Clint Capela has been a rebounding machine this season, but he's grabbing significantly fewer boards when he plays on the road. In 14 home games, he's averaging 13.7 rebounds, but in 13 starts on the road, he's only grabbing 12.1.
The Hawks travel to Orlando tonight to take on the Magic, and with his rebounding total set at 13.5, I'm going to back the UNDER. He's only averaged single-digit rebounds four times this season, and three of those occurrences happened in road games. I'm going to back that trend tonight. -- Iain MacMillan
