Most of the time, sweating out a parlay bet can be a day-long event. If you have a final leg continuing onto that week's Monday Night Football matchup, you spend find yourself thinking about it the entire day, wondering if you've made the right decision.

Then, the "same game parlay" was born.

Same game parlays, particularly on a stand-alone prime time game are a ton of fun. You can still enjoy the intrigue of betting small and winning big if everything comes through, minus the waiting of an entire slate. You can focus in on one game and watch as your bets hopefully hit throughout the evening.

At WynnBET, their "Build Your Own Bet" feature consists of a variety of betting options; ranging from the spread, total, alternatives spreads and totals, and several unique prop bets with multiple outcomes. Most sportsbooks have you choose between one number, say for example rushing yards.

Ezekiel Elliott must go over 62.5 rushing yards for that prop bet to hit. At WynnBET, they offer up several ranges of the outcome, with higher-priced odds for lower numbers to surpass. If Ezekiel Elliott goes over 50 yards, the odds are -400 (bet $400 to win $100), but if he goes past 70, it's available at even money (+100).

Here is a sample "Build Your Own Bet" same-game parlay I like for tonight's Monday Night Football matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys.

Bet the Eagles to Cover at a Better Number

Eagles +7.5 (-200)

The current line at WynnBET has Philadelphia as 3.5-point underdogs on the road at Dallas. The line has moved from where it opened at 4 slightly down to 3.5. I expect tonight's NFC East divisional showdown to be close, but love getting the Eagles by more than a touchdown rather than just above a field goal.

Bet the Under to Hit at 55.5 instead of 50.5

Under 55.5 (-160)

The initial line opened at 49 and since moved up a point and a half over the week at WynnBET. As I mentioned in our team's "best bets" column, both defenses have been surprisingly good this year, particularly the Eagles who have only given up 23 points all season. Dallas will be the Eagles' toughest task, but the Falcons and 49ers have plenty of talented offensive weapons that they've shut down through the first two games.

54 and 55 tend to be two of the most hit numbers on the high end of the over/under scale, so I like moving the line up once again without a heavy penalty.

Jalen Hurts Over 200 Yards Passing AND Over 50 Yards Rushing

Jalen Hurts 200+ Yards (-300) | Jalen Hurts 50+ Yards (-150)

Hurts has played well so far this season, looking true to the part as the Eagles' quarterback of the future. WynnBET has his passing yards prop set to 250.5 and his rushing yards prop at 54.5.

While I could have upped the ante to 225+, making the same game parlay final odds number even better (+700 instead of +600), I think Hurts uses his feet a little more tonight to have to make plays. Dallas actually ranks 11th in passing yards allowed to quarterbacks this year. Would rather be safe than sorry on this one, especially as it pertains to a same-game parlay.

Devonta Smith Over 50 Yards Receiving

Devonta Smith 50+ Receiving Yards (-275)

Of all the legs of this parlay, Smith is the one I'm most nervous about, but I also like it much more relative to the other offerings. He leads the Eagles by a wide margin in targets with 15 through two games and has the explosiveness to make big plays down the field.

While Smith only has 87 receiving yards through two games, the way Hurts has targeted him leads you to believe a breakout is coming. He currently ranks fifth through two games in air yards, a metric that measure the total yards the quarterback has targeted a player, regardless of whether the reception is made.

This same-game parlay still pays out at +600 odds, so even though you're leaning into some heavy favorite odds with a few of the legs, it still has a shot to turn out very profitable. Good luck!
