It has been less than 48 hours since WynnBET Sportsbook opened odds for the NFC and AFC Championship games.

However, in that short amount of time, we have already seen some significant movement in the spread odds for both of these games. We have full previews of these games here and here from our Managing Editor Ben Heisler.

To switch it up, I wanted to focus on where the odds started and where they are heading as of Monday afternoon for these two huge matchups. All odds listed were provided by WynnBET Sportsbook

49ers vs. Rams Updated Spread, Odds and Total

Spread: Rams -3.5 | Opened -3.5

Total: 46.5 | Opened 47.5

The 49ers and Rams are two of the lucky teams to survive a wild weekend in the NFL playoffs. On the NFC side of things, SF and LA match up better on paper than the Chiefs and Bengals. If I were to bet on the closer game, it would be this one for sure.

The oddsmakers agreed and opened the Rams as 3.5 point home favorites to overcome the 49ers at SoFi Stadium. As of early Monday, the spread had dipped to three points but eventually rebounded again to 3.5. The predicted full-game total also dropped from 47.5 to 46.5 where it currently sits.

Both moves are minor and make total sense. The 49ers just shut down Aaron Rodgers and held the Packers to just 10 points. It allowed them to win this game without even scoring a touchdown. Needless to say, that game went well under the expected total.

Bengals vs. Chiefs Updated Spread, Odds and Total

Spread: Chiefs -7 | Opened -6.5

Total: 54 | Opened 51.5

After one of the most exciting games of the season, the Kansas City Chiefs advanced to the AFC title game after narrowing beating the Buffalo Bills. In the wake of that performance, the Chiefs opened -6.5 over the Cincinnati Bengals for the AFC Championship Game.

Now, just hours later, the Chiefs have already moved up a half-point to touchdown favorites over the Bengals. Additionally, the point total went up from 51.5 all the way up to 54 in less than a day.

The uptick in the total is probably due to two factors. The danger that both offenses present and an untimely injury to Chiefs safety Tyrann Mathieu. If he is unable to play, the Bengals could have a field day with the combo of Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.
