It’s Time to Buy Low on Colts AFC South Division Odds

The Indianapolis Colts got off to an 0-3 start this season and yet they find themselves just one game out of the AFC South lead after beating the Miami Dolphins in Week 4.

I picked the Colts to upset the Miami Dolphins in Week 4 and they delivered with their best performance of the season.

The Tennessee Titans brutal loss to the New York Jets has opened the door for the Colts to get back in the division race, a race in which they were the favorites at WynnBET prior to Carson Wentz’s injury this past offseason

Odds to Win the AFC South Division

  • Tennessee Titans: -300
  • Indianapolis Colts: +225
  • Houston Texans: +4000
  • Jacksonville Jaguars: +4000

The Colts are still well behind the Titans, and I think they’re a great value bet to take the division. Tennessee’s defense has been atrocious once again this season, allowing the seventh most yards per play in the league.

Indy still has all of its matchups against the Jaguars and Texans on the schedule, and it can still even the season series with the Titans later on this year. The Colts’ other two losses came to formidable opponents in the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams. There is a trend with Frank Reich’s team that I think is worth monitoring as the season goes on.

If the Colts can shake the slow start as they have in years past, there’s no reason they can’t push an average Titans team for the division crown. The AFC South is a two-team race, and the Titans are way overvalued for my liking at -300, so I’m buying low on the Colts before it’s too late.
