Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen has started off his season strong with back-to-back games with over 100 yards receiving. Allen has the potential to make it three straight this week, facing a Kansas City Chiefs defense that has allowed 280 passing yards per game, and allowed Marquise Brown of the Baltimore Ravens to gain 113 receiving yards in their one-point loss to Baltimore last week.

Speaking of the Chiefs’ Week 2 loss to the Ravens, Kansas City wide receiver Tyreek Hill had just 14 receiving yards on three catches. Baltimore did a great job of slowing down one of quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ favorite targets. Hill and Mahomes could have their hands full again this week facing a Chargers defense that is allowing just 186 passing yards per game; 94 yards less than their AFC West division rival.

WynnBET Sportsbook has set Allen’s receiving yards prop at 81.5 (over: -115/under: -116) and Hill’s receiving yards prop at 80.5 (over: -115/under: -116).

The Kansas City passing defense has struggled so far, giving up 321 passing yards to Baker Mayfield in Week 1, and 239 to the run-happy Lamar Jackson in Week 2, which bodes well for Justin Herbert in Week 3. Herbert is averaging 337.5 passing yards per game and should pick apart this Chiefs defense. Who will benefit more in this matchup than Keenan Allen?

Mahomes has the ability to keep his team in any shootout, averaging 340 passing yards per game. Hill could benefit, but it’s hard to ignore tight end Travis Kelce’s presence.

Both Allen and Hill could hit the over on their receiving yards props this week, but I will take Allen to have more yards because the Kansas City passing defense has some holes in it.
