Kevin Porter Jr. Jumps Zion Williamson, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in Most Improved Player Odds

The Houston Rockets are smack dab in the middle of a rebuild, but that doesn’t mean everything will be bad this season. Houston drafted Jalen Green with the second overall pick in this year’s draft, but Green won’t be the only one with the spotlight on him.

Porter Jr. showed multiple times how talented of a scorer he is. The lefty had a 50-point game against the Milwaukee Bucks and led the Rockets to a win that night.

Hopefully, Porter Jr. and the Rockets will have more consistency this season. They had players coming in and out of the lineup, including Porter Jr., and that clearly worked to the detriment of the team. 

To surpass the leaps Williamson and Gilgeous-Alexander are expected to make, Porter Jr. will need a special season. At the very least, he’ll have an opportunity to lead a young Rockets team.
