Najee Harris Will Redeem Himself Against the Raiders
Despite Najee Harris’ underwhelming debut, don’t lose faith in him.
Harris finished the day with 49 yards on 17 touches, which isn’t great efficiency or a sign of good things to come. What you should hang your hat on is that he was on the field for 100% of the offensive snaps in Week 1.
Pittsburgh clearly showed that Harris is going to be integral to what they want to do offensively, so all the worry around Harris’ production should be mitigated.
There really shouldn’t be any worry this week because Harris gets to play the Raiders. Las Vegas gave up the most rushing yards of anyone last week. Granted, they played the Ravens, but 189 yards on the ground is a lot and should be encouraging for Harris. However even last season, Las Vegas was 23rd in the league in rushing yards allowed per game.
WynnBET believes that Harris will have a successful bounce back campaign. His player prop for rushing yards is set at 72.5, with the under (-116) favored against the over (-115).
Harris can easily hit that mark. Now how easily he hits it will be determined by the offensive line.
The Steelers’ offensive line is a young group and is still learning how to play together. Nevertheless, Pittsburgh won’t have a solid chance of making a run unless the line becomes more stable.
As for Harris, Week 2 should be his true coming out party to the rest of the NFL.
