Winning streaks across the NBA were snapped last night, as the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers were both handed their first loss in weeks.

However, the Phoenix Suns (who I love tonight) won their eighth straight, but yours truly wasn't as fortunate. Last night’s slate was a rough one to say the least, and I mention that because it’s the coldest I’ve been all season so far.

That’s right, I’m giving you the opportunity now to fade me, but if you believe that the hot hand can come right back, then I have some more picks for you.

We’ve slipped to .500 this year in the NBA, but I’m confident that I’ll be able to get it back on track as we have an exciting 11-game slate on Monday, Nov. 15.

Phoenix Suns (-4.0) at Minnesota Timberwolves (-110)

Phoenix is in the second game of a back-to-back, but they blew out the Houston Rockets easily on Sunday, 115-89. That led to Chris Paul (29 minutes) Jae Crowder (24 minutes) and others getting plenty of time to rest ahead of tonight’s tilt with the Wolves.

Deandre Ayton is likely out again tonight, but I love Phoenix in this spot against a Wolves team that is just 3-9 against the spread and has struggled on offense so far this season.

The Suns are 8-4 against the spread this season and come in with a top-10 offense (No. 8 in offensive rating) and defense (No. 7 in defensive rating). Minnesota is just 26th in the NBA in offensive rating, and they’re running into the Suns when they’re playing their best basketball of the young campaign.

I’m not going to let the back-to-back scare me away from getting Phoenix at this number.

Sacramento Kings vs. Detroit Pistons: Harrison Barnes OVER 17.5 Points (-125)

Harrison Barnes has gone under this number just three times in 13 games this season, and I think we may be getting a bit of value on this prop since he had just nine points in a blowout loss to the San Antonio Spurs last week.

Barnes is averaging 21.4 points per game, although he is only taking 13.2 shots per game. The biggest change for Barnes is he is getting to the line at the highest rate of his career, shooting 6.8 free throws per game. His career-high for a season prior to this was 4.1.

The Pistons are 19th in the NBA in defensive rating and average 19.2 personal fouls per game (20th in the league). I’ll back Barnes to have another strong showing in what should be a winnable game for the Kings.

Orlando Magic vs. Atlanta Hawks: John Collins OVER 15.5 Points (-125)

Atlanta lost De’Andre Hunter to a wrist injury for at least the next several weeks, and I think that actually might be a good thing for the Hawks.

There were simply too many mouths to feed with Hunter, John Collins, Trae Young, Kevin Huerter, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Danilo Gallinari, Cam Reddish and Clint Capela all vying for shots in that offense.

Specifically, it was taking shots away from Collins who has been on fire to start this season. The Hawks big man is shooting 62.6 percent from two-point range and 39.0 percent from beyond the arc this season, but he’s only taking 11.7 shots per game.

With Hunter out, Collins has taken 22 and 15 shots in the last two games, scoring 26 and 19 points in those contests. More opportunities for Collins is a welcome sign for Atlanta, who beat the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday.

Give me all the John Collins we can handle tonight.
