The Philadelphia Eagles will host the defending champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6 of the NFL season on Thursday Night Football.

WynnBET Sportsbook has the Bucs as seven-point road favorites, and it’s not surprising after their demolition of the Miami Dolphins in Week 5.

The Eagles came back to pull off an upset win in Week 5 over the Carolina Panthers, but they will face a much tougher test in Week 6.

Here are our team’s best bets for tonight’s matchup:

Miles Sanders UNDER 32.5 Rushing Yards

Miles Sanders already has gone on record saying the team panicked and abandoned the run in Week 3 against the Dallas Cowboys, and I think the Eagles are in a similar spot here.

Philadelphia is facing the NFL’s best run defense in the Buccaneers, who allow just 2.9 yards per carry and have given up just 229 rushing yards through five games.

Sanders is coming off his highest snap rate of the season in Week 5, but he still only had 11 carries for 45 yards. The third-year back has failed to reach 30 yards in two of his last three games and is still in a timeshare with Kenneth Gainwell

I’ll take the under in a game that I expect Nick Sirianni to quickly turn to a pass-heavy offense to keep pace with the Bucs. -- Peter Dewey

Antonio Brown OVER 5.0 Receptions (-125)

Antonio Brown is the way to go on Thursday Night. He’s gone over five catches twice this season and both were in the last two games. Brown is Brady’s favorite target and now that Rob Gronkowski is hurt, Brown gets to eat a little more.

Brady’s MO is to dink-and-dunk and Brown will be there to get all the short passes near the line. Also, Brown showed he could still be a deep threat. He’s still one of the most dangerous receivers in the league and the Eagles will have trouble defending him. -- Donnavan Smoot

Philadelphia Eagles +7.0 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-110)

I think I might be obsessed with betting on the Eagles. I've backed them every single week, and now I'm on them again against the defending Super Bowl champions.

While you might think the Buccaneers are the far superior team, the numbers don't necessarily back that claim up, especially when it comes to defense. Philadelphia ranks fourth in the NFL in opponent yards per play, while Tampa Bay ranks 17th. Furthermore, no team in the NFL calls passing plays at a higher rate than the Bucs (69.71%), which will play right into the Eagles hands who are third in opponent passing yards per game (194.8) and fourth in opponent yards per pass attempt (6.2).

With the spread being set right at the magic number of seven, I'll back the Eagles and the points in this one. -- Iain MacMillan

Tampa Bay Buccaneers -7.0 vs. Philadelphia Eagles (-110)

I’d make Tampa over eight point favorites in this matchup, so anything seven or lower is a buy for me. The key edge in this matchup is that the Eagles simply can't keep up with the Bucs offense. Tampa Bay is fourth in dropback EPA while Philly is 27th. Yes, Tampa Bay's defense has been an issue, but it comes in the secondary not in the run game, which is how the Eagles find most of their success.

The Jalen Hurts-led offense is fourth in run success rate, but 29th in pass success rate. Comparatively, Tampa Bay has the second best defensive run success mark and 27th against the pass.

It's strength on strength, and I'll side with Tampa Bay's offense rolling after hanging 45 on Miami last weekend.

I'm not concerned with Brady's hand injury, and I think the Bucs roll by two possessions. -- Reed Wallach

Tom Brady Anytime TD Scorer and Bucs Win (+850)

This is a bit of a long-shot bet at WynnBET this week in their player prop section, but I think this Thursday Night Football matchup sets up very well for it to hit. The Eagles are third-worst in the NFL in stopping the run, and with likely opportunities where the ball ends up around the one-yard line at some point, I expect Brady to punch it in himself.

Brady has already run for a TD on a sneak this year, so heading into Week 6, that's a 20% likelihood on the season at odds of +850. He's also arguably one of the best at the play in NFL history; another factoid to add to the GOAT's mantle. Factor in that Tampa Bay is a full touchdown favorite makes this an even easier decision. -- Ben Heisler
