Defense taking center stage after first quarter

Despite having two great offenses, zero points were scored in the first quarter. Matthew Stafford had a few errant throws to end drives and Seattle failed to convert on a fourth down. It looks as if this is going to turn into a rock fight rather than a shootout.

The Rams got into the red zone at the end of the first half. Los Angeles is a -3.5 favorite and -190 on the moneyline.

Low scoring battle continues into halftime

The second quarter finally gave us some points, however the low scoring affair continued. Both quarterbacks began the quarter with interceptions, but were finally able to turn the tide.  D.K. Metcalf was able to capitalize for a touchdown after a pass interference flag.

Los Angeles then responded with an 8-minute drive that resulted in a field goal. The Seahawks had an opportunity to take a 7-point lead into halftime, but missed the field goal as time expired.

Seattle is currently a 2.5-point favorite and -160 on the moneyline.

Los Angeles starting to pull away

Los Angeles clearly had a good halftime speech because it came to play in the third quarter. The Rams put 13 points on the board and held the Seahawks scoreless. Robert Woods has finally been a factor tonight and the Rams are using him heavily.

The Rams are 8.0-point favorites and -875 on the moneyline.

Rams lean on defense to close out game

Los Angeles found a way to stave off the Geno Smith comeback arc and finished the game with a win. Seattle had a chance to take the lead on a money drive, but had it's hopes quickly thwarted with a Geno Smith interception.

The Rams move to 4-1, while Seattle goes to 2-3.
