Ravens' Super Bowl Odds Falling Ahead of NFL Week 1

The Baltimore Ravens have gotten bit badly by the injury bug ahead of Week 1, and oddsmakers are starting to lose faith in Lamar Jackson and company.
Baltimore was +1500 to win the Super Bowl on WynnBET but has fallen to +1800 with their division rival, the Cleveland Browns, rising to +1200 odds. That’s not what Ravens fans want to hear.
Starting running back J.K. Dobbins is done for the season after suffering a torn ACL in the team’s final preseason game, and rookie receiver and first-round pick Rashod Bateman will miss the start of the season as he recovers from an injury sustained in training camp.
Ravens moved first-round pick Rashod Bateman and Miles Boykin to the Reserve/Injured list and signed tight end Eric Tomlinson to the 53-man roster. Boykin and Bateman will be required to miss at least the first three weeks of the season, but will be eligible to return in Week 4.

Less than ideal to say the least.
The Ravens still have Jackson, which is about as good of an insurance policy as you can ask for. The former league MVP is arguably the league’s most dynamic offensive threat. However, the lack of weapons on offense has been a concern all offseason, and losing Bateman and Dobbins accentuates those concerns.
Baltimore is expected to have the NFL’s best scoring defense, according to WynnBET, but the offense will still have to be clicking if it wants to win the Super Bowl.
Sitting at +1800, the Ravens are still firmly in the mix, but it’s concerning that their odds have fallen this much before even playing a game. Maybe Gus Edwards, Sammy Watkins and others can step into their new roles and thrive, but Vegas is certainly not buying it just yet.
The Ravens are still +125 favorites to win the AFC North, but the Browns (+140) are right behind them and could take over early in the season if Baltimore stumbles.
