We're just one sleep away from The Players Championship, so it's time to lock in those final bets.

I've already given you my full betting preview and outright bets, I've broken down the key stat for this week, and I've even shared a few long shot golfers to keep an eye on. If you want DFS tips, check out Cody Williams' article over at FanSided.

Here, I'm going to highlight you a few matchup bets you should consider wagering on before the event tees off at TPC Sawgrass on Thursday morning.

All odds listed below are via WynnBET Sportsbook.

The Players Championship Matchup Bets

  • Collin Morikawa +125 vs. Jon Rahm
  • Brooks Koepka +100 vs. Dustin Johnson
  • Corey Conners -120 vs. Louis Oosthuizen

Collin Morikawa +125 vs. Jon Rahm

Jon Rahm is the No. 1 ranked golfer in the world, but I don't think that's going to last for long. His short game has let him down in a big way this season, and it's preventing him from being in contention on Sundays. He ranks 177th in strokes gained: around-the-green and 135th in strokes gained: putting heading into this week's event.

We can get plus money on Morikawa, who is leading in total strokes gained and fourth in strokes gained: putting? Yes please.

Brooks Koepka +100 vs. Dustin Johnson

This is a fade of Dustin Johnson more than anything else. He's yet to put forward a strong performance in the new PGA Tour season. In three starts, he has finished of T45, T25, and a missed cut at the Genesis Invitational. That's not good.

Having the chance to take Brooks Koepka +100 odds in a big event that we know he'll be motivated for, is an easy bet to make.

Corey Conners -120 vs. Louis Oosthuizen

Louis Oosthuizen is still being overvalued in the betting market after strong performances at last year's majors. In five starts on Tour this year, he's yet to have a finish better than T14. He's 122th in strokes gained: approach the green, and while historically one of the best putters on Tour, he ranks just 72nd in putting ahead of this week.

Meanwhile, Conners is coming off a T11 finish at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and ranks 16th in strokes gained: tee-to-green. I wouldn't be surprised if this bet cashes in sweat-free fashion.
