These 3 NFL Team Win Totals are Way Too Low
I’m in a good mood today, so let’s have some positivity!
Yesterday, I wrote about three teams whose live win totals at WynnBET Sportsbook were too high, and I recommended taking the under on them.
Today, I want to take a positive spin on those win totals instead. Let’s take a look at three teams whose win totals, in my opinion, are too low as we head into Week 4 of the NFL season. Cheering for a team to succeed and hit the over on their win total is a lot more exciting than doing the opposite, isn’t it?
All odds listed are via WynnBET.
Carolina Panthers OVER 8 wins -115
The most pleasant surprise of the NFL season so far has been the Carolina Panthers. They enter Week 4 with an undefeated 3-0 record, while also boasting the top defense in the NFL in terms of opponent yards per game (191) and second best in opponent points per game (10).
With their live win total set at eight, they only need to go 5-9 the rest of the way to at least push this bet. With two games against the Atlanta Falcons and a game against Washington and the New York Giants still left on their schedule, they should hit the over with ease if they’re even a fraction as good as they have looked so far.
Seattle Seahawks OVER 9.5 wins +100
Sure, they might be 1-2 through the first three weeks, but the Seahawks have had the most explosive offense in the NFL to date. They rank first in the NFL in yards per offensive play at 7.4, which is 0.6 more yards than the next best offense.
If their defense can get off the field and let Russell Wilson cook, they should have no issue stringing some wins together and go at least 10-7 on the season.
Playing in the toughest division in football doesn’t help their cause, but they still have games against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Washington Football Team, Chicago Bears, and Detroit Lions which should all be wins.
It’s a great bet if you’re looking for one that’s at plus-money.
Las Vegas Raiders OVER 8.5 wins -145
It seems like almost every year, the Raiders tease us with being a good football team, but then fall off a cliff as the season progresses. While that might be the case, I’m starting to think this might actually be their year.
Derek Carr is playing at an MVP level, their offense is first in total yards per game (471), and their defense has been serviceable, ranking 14th in opponent yards per game (355.7).
Football is more fun when the Raiders are in the mix.
