Titans vs. Chiefs Best Anytime Touchdown Scorer Picks for Sunday Night Football
Sunday's NFL slate will wrap up with a Sunday Night Football game between the Tennessee Titans and Kansas City Chiefs.
If you want to know the latest odds for the game, as well as my best bet, check out my betting preview here. If you're more interested in prop bets, I gave out my three favorites here.
In this article, we're going to focus on anyntime touchdown bets. All we need for these bets to cash, is for the player we bet on to find the end zone. If they score, the bet will win.
Here are my three favorite touchdown scorers for Sunday Night Football.
Sunday Night Football Anytime Touchdown Picks for Titans vs. Chiefs
- Marquez Valdes-Scantling +270
- Kansas City Defense +450
- Malik Willis +450
Marquez Valdes-Scantling +270
I continue to bet on Marquez Valdes-Scantling to score a touchdown, and it hasn't worked out for me, but I'm going to keep going to the well. MVS is getting the targets he needs in order to find the end zone, and he racked up 111 yards in their last game against the 49ers.
The Titans are also 23rd in opponent yards per pass attempt, giving up 7.0 yards per throw. They're also giving up 2.0 passing touchdowns per game. So, targetting Chiefs wide receivers to find the end zone tonight is likely a good bet.
Malik Willis +425
You may want to wait to see if Malik Willis is going to be named the starter for the Titans tonight, but reports indicate he'll likely be getting the nod in place of Ryan Tannehill.
Willis ran the ball five times for 12 yards in his start last week against the Texans, but I expect him to try to get yards with his legs even more this week against the Chiefs. They can't just run the ball with Derrick Henry against Kansas City and expect to win the game. They'll need to get creative. If Willis drops back to pass when they're down close to the goalline, I wouldn't be surprised to see him take off and try to take it in himself.
Dontrell Hilliard +800
Our very own Ben Heisler gave out Dontrell Hilliard to score a touchdown in this week's Sunday Six. This is what he had to say about the longshot bet.
"Kansas City current sits as a consensus 12.5-point home favorite coming off their bye week against Tennessee, which sets up well for pass-catching specialist Dontrell Hilliard.
"The Titans, despite having the big dog in Derrick Henry on their side, may be forced to play catch-up in more passing down situations, and his matchup vs. the Chiefs is about as advantageous as it gets.
"The speedy Hilliard already has three receiving touchdowns this year, and in a limited sample, averages 7.8 yards per attempt on the ground. When he's on the field, he gets targeted and the price is right for Sunday night."
