Looking to bet on some Major League Baseball on Tuesday? The BetSided team has you covered with picks for three games on the slate, and previews for several more on our MLB picks page.

Let’s jump into today's top picks with odds from FanDuel:

Toronto Blue Jays vs. Philadelphia Phillies Odds, Prediction and Pick

If there is one thing that I know to be true lately, it’s that you have to bet on the Jays when Ross Stripling is on the mound.

Toronto has won 20 of his 29 appearances this season, and the Jays have also won eight of his last nine starts. Over that nine-game stretch, Stripling has a .242 ERA and opponents are hitting a pedestrian .181 against him.

Kyle Gibson hasn’t been nearly as good, especially in the month of September where he has a 8.53 ERA in three starts, allowing 20 hits over 12.2 innings. Philly enters this game on a four-game skid, and I wouldn't be shocked if that gets to five.

Stripling hasn't allowed more than three earned runs in a start since May 7. Trust him tonight

Cleveland Guardians vs. Chicago White Sox Odds, Prediction and Pick

Dylan Cease is at the forefront of the AL Cy Young race, but I think the Guardians can be a rough matchup for him. He has a ton of movement on his slider, but his command is not as great as one would think. He walks a ton of batters in addition to striking most of them out (more than 11 strikeouts per 9 innings, which is countered by nearly four walks).

Cleveland has the lowest strikeout rate in baseball this season, so Cleveland showcases a ton of discipline at the plate and works pitch counts. While I'm not itching to play the Guardians at this number with Aaron Civale on the mound (5.40 ERA this season), I think the over has some merit.

Chicago is in good shape at the plate of late, top five in wRC+ in the month of September as it hangs around the divisional race. I expect the White Sox plate runs and push this matchup over the total. Cease's command keeps me off the side, so I'm looking at the over as my favorite bet in this one.

LEAN: OVER 7.5 (-105)

Washington Nationals vs. Atlanta Braves Odds, Prediction and Pick

Patrick Corbin should earn a medal or something for his work on the Nationals this year. Not because he’s been good, but because he has been so awful and yet has trotted out there every fifth day.

When he starts tonight he will tie for the league lead in starts, yet also has the highest ERA of any qualified pitcher by a full run. His 6.11 ERA is somehow way better than it could have been for him this season. On August 6, he hit a high water mark of 7.02, but has pitched well enough to still have an ERA a run worse than everyone else in the league.

Patrick Corbin’s season must be what it felt like to be Mike Tyson’s sparring partner. Just get in the ring everyday and get your face smashed in fully aware you’ll have to do it again the next day and there was no chance you were ever going to win. The Nationals are 6-23 in his starts, he has a 6-18 record and in three starts against the Braves, he has a 9.88 ERA.

Those three starts, he has pitched 13 innings and the Braves as a team have an OPS over 1.000. That is insane production off one pitcher and it is more than just one bad game. The run line is only 1.5, but they could move it to 4.5 and I think I’d still take the Braves. I’ll take them on the run line, but FanDuel has options for alternate lines and I like the Braves -2.5 at about even odds.

PICK: Braves -1.5 (-160) or -2.5 (-104)
