Alabama quarterback Bryce Young may not have had the "Heisman-worthy" stats on Saturday afternoon, but the oddsmakers at WynnBET insist he had his "Heisman moment" to make up for it.

Down 10-3 with just seconds to go in the Iron Bowl Saturday evening, Young drove the Crimson Tide 97 yards down the field; connecting with Ja'Corey Brooks for the game-tying touchdown with 0:24 seconds to go.

From that point forward, Young kept delivering; scoring every time the offense touched the ball in overtime. winning 24-22 in 4 OT. He did all of this without his top wideout Jameson Williams, who was ejected for a targeting call back in the second quarter.

Even with a loss, the Crimson Tide would still have been in the SEC Championship game against Georgia. However, the win keeps Alabama very much alive for a spot in the College Football Playoff; regardless of what happens next week when they head to Atlanta for the title game.

Does C.J. Stroud Still Have a Chance at the Heisman Trophy?

The Ohio State quarterback was at the top of the odds board last week heading into their matchup vs. Michigan, opening at -220 odds. Even though Stroud didn't play poorly, throwing for just under 400 yards, two passing touchdowns and no interceptions, the loss on the road in Ann Arbor knocks Ohio State out of the Big Ten Championship game.

Stroud no longer has one more game to showcase his skills to make one last grasp at the Heisman, giving a player like Bryce Young an even better opportunity.

Can Bryce Young Lose the Heisman vs. Georgia?

It's a daunting task to face Georgia's defense this year. In Matt De Saro's preview article for the SEC Championship, he references just how dangerous the Bulldogs are on the defensive side of the ball.

The Bulldogs have something the Crimson Tide does not; the best defense in college football. Georgia ranks No. 1 in points allowed per game (6.9), yards per game (240.5), points per play (0.105), yards per play (3.7), and red zone scoring (55%). Just take a look over those numbers again real quick. 6.9 points per game average over 12 games? That's incredibly impressive no matter which way you slice it.

Young would have to be abysmal for Stroud or another dark horse to take home the award, considering the type of competition he's set to face. Here's a look at the latest Heisman odds over at WynnBET.
