Sign In Green Bay Packers Bar Taunts Adrian Peterson For Missing Record (Photo)

The Green Bay Packers stopped Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson nine yards short of the all-time single-season rushing record last week in the team’s regular season finale. With another match up coming during Wild Card weekend, the Packers are making sure Peterson and the Vikings remember he came up short of the record.
KARE 11 Sports Reporter Keith Leventhal was soaking up the scenery in Green Bay and noticed this sign in a Packers bar. The sign took a shot at Peterson for falling just short of Eric Dickerson’s mark. Safe to say, “Shots. Fired.”

There is nothing as entertaining as some solid trash talk leading up to a big match up and this Packers bar did it right. I’m sure this photo will make it’s way to Peterson’s locker, but he won’t be needing any extra motivation for this weekend’s game.
