It seems like every year we discuss the fact that the Denver Broncos would benefit from adding linebackers to the roster to bolster their depth and talent down the middle of their defense. This year, Denver is finally bringing in a solid free agent linebacker — former Arizona Cardinals linebacker Stewart Bradley.

Who scooped the signing of Bradley to the Broncos? None other than John Elway:

All signs now point to the team releasing fellow linebacker Joe Mays.

Bradley will turn 30-years-old during the season and his veteran presence will benefit the Broncos defensive unit. Expect Bradley to come in to camp and compete with Nate Irving and others for the team’s starting middle linebacker gig.
