It’s a sad time for Green Bay Packers fans. Not only has the team lost longtime wide receiver Greg Jennings to the division rival Minnesota Vikings, but they lost fan favorite tight end Tom Crabtree late Friday night.  Reports surfaced that Crabtree, who was a restricted free agent, has signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Crabtree is a very talented tight end that the Packers were high on. Everyone in the organization was hoping to see Crabtree return and continue contributing as a blocker as he developed as a receiving threat.

Not only are Packers fans disappointed with the loss of Crabtree, his own quarterback bid a hilariously heartfelt farewell via his official Twitter account:

That has to be the most entertaining farewell message from a teammate in recent memory.

With Crabtree heading to Tampa Bay, he could immediately rise to the top of the team’s depth chart.
