One of the most talked about teams in the NFL Draft were the New York Jets. Not only were they being talked about thanks to the fact that they own two first-rounders, but also because they were just so bad last season it wasn’t fun to watch. Even people that hate the Jets found it awkward to watch the Jets stumble all over themselves in 2012 and their two first-rounders signaled a time for change.

The only question was who would they pick with their two pick. The Jets wanted Tavon Austin at No. 9 overall but they were sniped by the St. Louis Rams who traded up and drafted Austin 8th overall with the Buffalo Bills pick.

After trading Darrelle Revis to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers it was apparent that they needed to find a replacement and Alabama cornerback Dee Milliner fell right into their laps.

There were some questions about Milliner’s health recently thanks to medical reports that were floated around, but that didn’t stop the Jets from running their card up to the podium with Milliner’s name on it. The Crimson Tide prospect still was considered to be one of the best defensive prospects to show up in the NFL Draft in some time and was without a doubt the best cornerback in the draft this year.

The Jets traded Revis and now have a younger potential clone of him. Now the only question is will Milliner live up to the hype or will the Jets misfortunes continue with another botched draft pick?
