The long wait for Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te’o is finally over. After selecting offensive tackle DJ Fluker in the first-round, the San Diego Chargers traded up and addressed a need in the middle of their defense by selecting the Notre Dame product. In the trade, the Chargers sent No. 110 overall pick to the Arizona Cardinals.

For Te’o, his instincts are his real strength.

We all knew that Te’o was not the biggest or best athlete, but he is a very intelligent player that always has his nose around the ball. The Chargers and their fans are going to be very pleased with the addition of the Heisman Trophy runner up.

What are your thoughts on this pick?

Here is how the second-round of the 2013 NFL Draft is playing out

1 (33) Jacksonville Jaguars — Jonathan Cyprien, safety, Florida International
2 (34) San Francisco 49ers (from Kansas City Chiefs) – Justin Hunter, wide receiver, Tennessee
3 (35) Philadelphia Eagles — Zach Ertz, tight end, Stanford
4 (36) Detroit Lions — Darius Slay, cornerback, Mississippi State
5 (37) Cincinnati Bengals (from Oakland Raiders) —  Giovanni Bernard, running back, North Carolina
6 (38) San Diego Chargers (from Arizona Cardinals) — Manti Te’o, linebacker, Notre Dame
