Notre Dame Players Respond to Everett Golson’s Departure

The shocking news surfaced late Saturday night that the quarterback who led the Notre Dame Fighting Irish to the BCS National Championship game earlier this year was no longer with the team. Notre Dame confirmed that Everett Golson was no longer enrolled at the university, but there was no exact reason given for his departure. While the news of Golson leaving the university sent shockwaves through the loyal Fighting Irish fan base, many of his former teammates took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
The fans were worried and didn’t seem to know what was next for the program, while the players stayed calm and appeared to be composed and ready for the next chapter of Notre Dame football.
