Game of Thrones, season 3 is over and Game of Thrones, season 4, is very, very far away.

Unfortunately, the Thrones season is unbearably short. Fans wait roughly 11 months for a season that lasts a mere ten episodes. Had HBO not decided to forego airing the show on Memorial Day weekend to avoid a a ratings drop, the final episode would have aired on June 2nd, rather than June 9th.

If the ratings the show receives when it IS on doesn’t drive home just how devoted GOT fans are to the tales of Westeros, their angry reaction when the show skipped a week, certainly did.

Here is a small sample of the comments we received on FanSided.com when we published an article explaining why the show wasn’t airing on May 26th.

"I am SO disappointed with HBO or whoever decided to postpone tonight’s episode of Game of Thrones. I spent the day staying close to home to watch my favorite TV series and lo and behold; I get all ready – with dinner in front of me – and all phones disconnected….only to find it’s not listed on HBO tonight!? How could they do this? Anyone who is gone because of the holiday could tape the series on their DVR. And because of the ratings? Unreal. At the very least….why didn’t they tell us ahead of time? I am so pissed right now. Sure, I’ll get over it….but really…was that the right way to do it? They should have had the decency to at least announce it so we wouldn’t have been expecting to see tonight’s airing. Kind of makes you not even want to get interested in these series shows anymore if they are going to control the airing on a whim. What’s next? A charge for each episode?"

"bullshit"

"k you hbo im canceling my sub after this season is over"

"What a f***ing rip off"

"NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Trust us, those weren’t even the worst of them.

Since this is the first weekend of no GOT, we’re a little concerned that some fans, who may not have realized that last week’s episode was the season finale, might be in for a bit of a rude awaking tonight.

Thus, we decided to put together a little list to help GOT fans get through the next 41 or so Sundays.

Here is how you can get your Game of Thrones fix until season 4 begins:
