It’s a small portion of the overall product, but the jerseys in sports games are what players see most during their time with the game.
Users always like to know how the jerseys look compared to their real-life counterparts. And if teams have unveiled a new look, players want to know if they are properly represented in the game.
If they don’t look good, then a users experience could be affected because they feel they aren’t getting a 100% accurate depiction of the game they love.
This year three teams showed off new looks. The Minnesota Vikings debuted new uniforms while making minor tweaks to their logo; the Miami Dolphins and Jacksonville Jaguars underwent wholesale changes to their team brand: revealing fully redesigned logos and uniforms.
Luckily, all the major rebrandings are accounted for in Madden 25. And, at first glance, there doesn’t seem to be many faults with the new looks.
Of course, the Jaguars helmet still looks terrible in virtual form.
