Anderson Silva lost his title belt in UFC 162 in glorious fashion. He taunted his opponent putting his hands at his side while flat footed, hitting himself on the chin ecnouraging Chris Weidman to hit him. Then guess what… Weidman hit him. He knocked Silva out cold in the process and defeated Anderson Silva for the UFC Middleweight Title.

UFC fans took to social media to blast Anderson Silva and even accused the fighter or the UFC of rigging the fight.

“That’s the stupidest [expletive] thing I’ve heard in my life,” UFC President Dana White said.

But was it disrespectful to Chris Weidman what Anderson Silva did? What about the fans who paid for seats to the fight?

“Fans came here to see a fight and they saw a great fight tonight,” White said defiantly. “Was it disrespectful? I don’t know. This is fighting. How do you disrespect someone in a fight? I’m going to punch you in the face, try to knock you out and try to take your leg off.

“If I grab your arm, I’m going to take that off. I’m going to strangle you if I get your neck. But I don’t want to disrespect you? And you know, I think what Weidman did to him was pretty damn disrespectful, too.”
