NFL Free Agency: Baltimore Ravens ‘In Love’ With Unsigned Free Agents

Just when you thought NFL free agency was officially over, the Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens come out of the wood work and drop a gem of a quote describing how “in love” they are with some free agents still on the market.

Garrett Downing of the Ravens official website has the details of a quote from head coach John Harbaugh:

“There are still players who are out there unsigned, and we’re in love with, so personnel-wise, yeah,” Head Coach John Harbaugh said when asked about the possibility of adding players.

Harbaugh did not point to any specific areas where the Ravens could look to add players. In the past, General Manager Ozzie Newsome has said that the Ravens could be open to picking up a veteran wide receiver off the market.

What does this translate to? The Ravens are not confident with Jacoby Jones across from Torrey Smith after the loss of Anquan Boldin, who they shipped off to the San Francisco 49ers.

Now the Ravens appear to be ready to find some security at wide receiver. Who the team is “in love” with at this point is hard to tell, but general manager Ozzie Newsome has a track record of making the decisions that are best for his team.

Expect this to be another good decision.
