I wonder how many times it takes a player to get suspended from their profession and what they love, in order for them to learn?

The NFL has once again suspended New York Giants safety Will Hill for 4 games this season, for violating the league’s substance abuse policy.

Will, the 23 year old defensive back was suspended for 4 games last season for violating the league’s policy on performance enhancing drugs, but this one is for substance. He is currently competing to be the Giants #4 safety on the depth chart, but something like this could end up in him getting released.

If he avoids release, after his 2nd violation, he will be eligible to return to the team in Week 5 against the Philadelphia Eagles. But like I said, he will have to avoid being released in the next few days. In all likelihood, general manager Jerry Reese will more than likely look to cut ties with the undrafted safety out of Florida in 2011.

If it happens, the kid has nobody else to blame but himself. If I were Jerry Reese, I would can him today.
