There could be some bad news for Orlando Magic forward Glen Davis after missing the remainder of last season due to a broken foot. If the recent reports are correct, Davis’ status for the beginning of the season could be in jeopardy after going under the knife once again.

Davis reportedly had a second surgery just a few weeks ago in order to have a screw in his foot replaced.

There is a chance that Davis could resume basketball activities later this summer and be ready for the start of camp, but nothing is guaranteed at this point.

From the Orlando Sentinel:

"But Davis underwent surgery earlier this month to replace a screw in his left foot, and team officials will not rush him as he continues his rehabilitation. There’s a possibility Davis won’t be ready for the start of the regular season."

The Magic are already a less than impressive team, so being without Big Baby will only hurt them as they look to right the ship.

Hopefully for the sake of the team and their fan base, Davis is ready to go by the end of summer.
