While Tim Tebow apparently looked “horrible” during the New England Patriots’ morning practice on Friday, he did have some success when he wasn’t throwing the ball. With Tebow saying that he will do what he can to help the team win and head coach Bill Belichick saying the team will play him where he will help them the most, it was interesting to see Tebow out catching passes during practice.

Tebow was with the running backs and wide receivers during a non-contact drill, according to Albert Breer of the NFL Network, and he didn’t fair too poorly.

When Tebow joined the Patriots, the belief was that he would be a quarterback only, but it looks like the team is currently exploring all options.

It is important to recognize that Breer noted Tebow spent most of his time working with the quarterbacks, but the flirtation with other positions was there.

When you take in to account that Tebow looked awful in the first practice as a quarterback and that the team has some depth questions at tight end, perhaps it would be in the team’s best interest to give him an honest look at H-back or tight end.
