The New England Patriots top back up quarterback Ryan Mallett was injured late in the second quarter, so the Tim Tebow portion of your preseason came much earlier than anticipated. Tebow warmed up for a few passes on the sidelines before entering the game, where he started off by throwing two interceptions and taking a sack.

It was typical Tim Tebow.

You have to appreciate his effort, but dear God were those attempts to start the game awful. Not only were they incomplete, but they were completely off target and they gave the receiver no real chance of catching the ball.

The good news is that Tebow isn’t getting any worse, but can he?

It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Tebow miss the team’s 53-man roster if he continues to show his inaccuracy throughout the preseason, but you never know exactly what Bill Belichick is going to pull.

Since watching Tim Tebow throw bounces on the NFL field never gets old, check out the video below, via Business Insider:

Never change, Timmy. Never change.
