For the sixth straight year, ESPN will broadcast more than 24 straight hours of college basketball across ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPNU beginning on Monday, November 11th.

Some of the highlights in this year’s event includes the Champions Classic at the United Center in Chicago, where four of the top six teams in ESPN’s preseason top 25 will play. Michigan State takes on Kentucky in the early game and Kansas and Duke will square off in the nightcap.

Other teams highlighted in the event are Gonzaga, Wichita State, Florida Gulf Coast, Baylor, VCU, and Florida. The backend of the schedule, beginning with the South Carolina/Baylor matchup, is loaded with very interesting games.

Some traditions have stayed the same with Saint Mary’s and Hawaii hosting during the overnight hours. What’s different compared to previous years is when it starts. No longer billed as just a 24-hour marathon, the event begins with two big women’s matchups the night before at 7:00 pm ET. Usually the event began at midnight on the east coast, now the men’s games begin at 11:00 pm ET.
