Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo missed a lot of the team’s activities this offseason after having an operation on a cyst on his back. Romo didn’t play in the Hall of Fame game, an extra preseason game. He did play briefly against the Oakland Raiders in the first real preseason game.

Romo played well, he completed 6 of 8 passes for 88 yards, no interceptions or touchdowns. Romo made some good plays and moved around in the backfield, he was also sacked once for a 5 yard loss.

The Cowboys faithful have to be optimistic about seeing Romo feeling good and a determined Dez Bryant heading into the season.

“It was good,” Romo said of how he felt, via Calvin Watkins of ESPN Dallas. “It was good to take a hit. It was good to move around, throw and just know that it felt like training camp. I put that same tempo, that same kind of mindset each day I go out for practice. It carries over to the game. So that was a good feeling.”

When asked about his back, Tony Romo had a simple response.

“Everything is good.”
