The Cincinnati Bengals are under the Hard Knocks spot light this training camp. Dynamic wide receiver A.J. Green however has not been in the spotlight since he bruised his knee on July 26th, the second day of camp.

Green most likely won’t play in Saturday’s preseason game but Bengals fans can rest assured that Green avoided a serious injury. Green didn’t play in last week’s preseason opener against the Atlanta Falcons.

Green is reportedly on track to be 100% well ahead of the regular season opener and could be returning to practice Wednesday. Tuesday is an off day for the Bengals so after an extra day of rest he could try and feel it out at practice on Wednesday.

From Bengals.com:

"Wide receiver A.J. Green looks like he may give it a go on Wednesday after Tuesday’s day off, which would be 19 days after he bruised his knee on the second day of camp. But still don’t look for him in Saturday’s 7 p.m. game against the Titans at [Paul Brown Stadium]."
