According to ESPN.com, Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano has called running back Ahmad Bradshaw an “every-down back”.

"“It’ll be great to get him out there. He’s an every-down back. I know he can be a third-down back. I know he can be a pass protector. I know he hasn’t played in awhile. It’ll take him a minute obviously to knock the rust off, but it’s going to be great to have him in the fold and join those other guys and start competing with those guys.” Chuck Pagano said on ESPN.com"

Bradshaw was set to be sidelined for 10 weeks following a foot procedure. Hitting the free agent market, knowing you would be sidelined for so long looked like it was going to make it impossible for the veteran running back to find a new team.

Now the new Colt is looking to get back to the field and aims to play in Indy’s third pre-season game, saying he feels 100%.

"“I feel great right now. I feel like I’m ready to go. It’s just a process I have to go through to be ready for the pounding and practices everyday.” Bradshaw told ESPN.com"

Not only is he entering the season as the new guy once again, he’s also entering that house that former teammate Eli Manning’s older brother Peyton built.

This Indianapolis Colts team made some noise last season and if Bradshaw can stay healthy and do what he did in New York, this team will make noise again this season.
