There is some doubt in league circles that New England Patriots quarterback Tim Tebow is in jeopardy of missing the team’s 53-man roster, but when the media approached Timmy Terrific to ask whether or not he was worried about making the final cut he was more concerned about just improving as a player.

“No,” Tebow said about his concern of making the final roster, via the Boston Herald. “I’m just worried about improving every single day.”

A good sign for Tebow, however, is that Patriots head coach Bill Belichick did publicly acknowledge Tebow has been improving in practices, so that is something to be proud of despite his dreadful game appearances.

“I think if you look at the entire week last week, it would look different than the game did,” Belichick said. “In some cases, the game looked better for some players, and in some cases the game didn’t look as good as some other things during the week.”

With the preseason winding down, Tebow will need to pick up his performance on the field to show that he is a capable back up. If not, he will once again be standing in the unemployment line after the final roster cuts are made.
